Trees

Trees

People today plant more trees than ever before, yet with the growth of the world population and over development of industries and cities, trees have never been under so much pressure than at the moment.

Trees form the framework of the landscape. They are the most prominent and most permanent of all living things. They dictate the atmosphere in their surroundings. We grow a wide range of trees suitable for our climatic conditions. As Gauteng has such a diverse range of Winter Temperatures, certain areas are extremely cold (up to -8 degrees) and other areas seldom go below +2 degrees. For this particular reason we grow our trees at two different locations; one being very cold and wet and the other very hot and dry.

We grow indigenous trees suitable to our climate in 20, 50 and 100 liter containers. Cold hardy trees from all over the world are also grown with some rare and unusual smaller trees from small gardens like Acer (Maples), Xylosma and many more.
